House

So as some of you might know, Justin and I made an offer on a house. And the owner accepted it. We are fixing up the paper work right now. This is a map of where the house is. The green arrow is about where mom and dad's house is.

It has a dinning area that connects to the living room, where there is a wood burning stove. Next to the dinning area is of course the kitchen. But the kitchen is enclosed by 2 walls, these 2 walls look like someone added them because they do not go all the way to the ceiling but stop about a foot away. We want to tear these walls down. But we will leave one about half way up so we can put a little breakfast bar type counter thing. However I think they put the walls up to add more cabinet space, so since we are taking that down we will have to get some kind of shelf thingy.

It has 3 bedrooms, but only 1 bathroom. I have only seen 2 of the bedrooms and I have not seen the bathroom. I am terribly worried about what it looks like. Eventually we will add on another bathroom. Probably somewhere down the road we will just add on a bigger room for the master bedroom and a master bathroom. Leaving the 3 bedrooms for kids and guests.

There is a car port/ storage area, that has 3 walls but the front is open, leading me to assume that I might have been originally intentioned as a carport. On the back wall of this there is another door that opens into more storage and the home of Dot and Bob, the 2 cats who live there. (That the previous renter just left there to starve and dehydrate. Luckily Aubri noticed them when she was over there so she has started feeding and water them. They drank about a gallon of water when we first took them some poor things they were so skinny.) Eventually we want to enclose that and make it into an office/studio room. There is another door into the back storage so the cats can still live in there.

There is also a porch of the east side that needs to be screened in, a lot of junk that needs to be hauled off and a lot of stuff we hope the owner decides to leave. For example, a trampoline (one of the big ones like mom has), a welder, a bunch of supplies to make horse corrals, a 1960ish camero, 1950ish truck and new ugly van, and just a bunch of other stuff that will be useful. Not sure about the dates on those vehicles but it would be cool if he left them we could sell them and make a little money.
Ok sorry this ended up being a really long blog and I didn’t mean for it to be. So sorry.

Again, a bit late, but fun place. I want to see it in the daytime to get the full effect. Liked it.
