Riddles

What has a neck, but no head?

Here on earth it is true, yesterday is always before today; but there is a place where yesterday always follows today. Where?

Where do old bowling balls end up?

What never gets any wetter no matter how hard it rains?

What do people make that nobody can ever see?

School

ARRRGGGHHH. You know, I generally like school. If I could I would be a professional student. But man I can’t wait to be done. There is only one reason for my need to expedite this semester. And that is the dreaded SPANISH 202. Dun dn dunnnnn.
I actually dread, I said dread, this class. I feel like it should be called, Humiliate Adriana 202. I always feel like an idiot. I get all nervous and I start shaking and sweating. I spend all class taking furious notes, so my teacher will think I am too intent on my notes to call on me in class. And yes this trick has worked pretty successfully in the past

Weddings

So for those of you who didn’t know, my only first female cousin got married over the weekend. The wedding was awesome. The traveling was not. I left Phoenix at 7:25 in a crammed plane and didn’t land until 3:30. What is that?! When I landed I was still looking for breakfast.
I have never been in 98% humidity before. And you know what? I thought it was awesome. There is a layer of fog covering everything. You look out over the trees and you see fog, like in a really good movie, say Braveheart. The only bad thing was it hard to get dry. But even then I thought it was cool. Way better than Phoenix anyway.

I have decided that since my blogs are so boring I am going to start ending them with a joke. So here goes.

How is a computer like Britney Spears?

They are both cheap, white and plastic.

Geez

So I know many of you are thinking that I was never going to write in my blog again. Well ha. I am, so there you go.
I just finished my summer course. The history of U.S. and Latin American relations. And yes it was interesting, I didn’t learn anything new really. But I was able to refresh my memory on some things therefore enabling me to put together a lot of the things I have learned over the years. This class was way to easy. We hardly had to anything ie, read two books (easy reads by the way), write 4 short (like 3 paragraphs) answers to a question, and write 2, 5 page essays. Talk about not much work. And it was an internet course so that makes it even better. I just got my schedule for next semester figured out: 1) the American novel till 1860, 2) Spanish, 3) Films and politics and finally a difficult course, I fear, on writing history. Sounds really cool huh? (note the sarcasm).
Question: does any one else find it hard to come up with things to say?On another note I and some friends of mine from work are joining a book club. We are getting ready to start “The Secret Life of Bees” by Sue Monk Kidd. I hear she is a really good writer. Speaking of books. Harry Potter number 6….huh ….huh? good huh? Sorry about all the huhs. We have some friends here, they are much older, but they are really fabulous. They are Canadian and used to travel the comedy circuit. They had their own comedy act and a TV show. Anyway, maybe it a Canadian thing, but she also says “eh” after every sentence. Kinda like I always say “ I know huh”
